Little did I think that the location of my post retirement job would be located at the site of a former theme park "Pleasure Island" in Wakefield, MA. Remember " Freedom Land " in Bronx NY? It was built by the same folks who built this place. It is now an office park, but a nice one with some great man-made ponds and walking paths. Thankfully I get to work from home most of the time since the commute is long. Here it is in present day: And here is a look back through time:

 What would I do without Google Alerts? I have created one for The Horror of Party Beach and once again it "alerted" me to some new material, a recording of Elaine and Wigglin' N' Wobblin' by the Del Aires. Gary Robert Jones and Ronnie Linares, both of "The Del-Aires" (a   Paterson, New Jersey   rock band who play themselves as a local band) wrote one song together, "Drag," and one song each: "Wigglin' Wobblin'" (Jones) and "Elaine" (Linares). The Del-Aires performed all six songs in the film.
