I'm a member of the New Ipswich Photo Club . We meet monthly in the New Ipswich Library to discuss photography and choose a monthly photo theme. The theme for this month is Leading Lines, a composition method that draws the eye to some point in the image.  This theme is proving to be a challenge for me. I've yet to come up with an original idea. I did go through some older photos for ideas. These are the ones I took at The Barre Cross in Barre, MA. It is an interesting place which can only be seen from 1000 feet in the air. God's Wisdom  In 1989, John Hardy received a loud firm message from God that instructed him to build a cross 200 ft long 25 ft wide, painted with The Ten Commandments in the middle of the field. Followed by creating a message to all that could be seen from 1,000 feet in the air, God's Wisdom, made with trees and crushed marble. Throughout the years many people have visited his home and he was able to share his love of Jesus and to reconn...

I visited the Barre Cross in Barre, MA without knowing what it looked like from the air. It has an interesting story. Farmer John Harty died on August 20, 2017. It would have been nice to have met him. This was a work of love and faith. Tenzin Gyatso, 14th Dalai Lama Good Morning, I had a nice vacation day yesterday and had the opportunity to visit the Mariposa Museum in Peterborough, NH to watch the Drepung Gomang monks construct a Peace Mandala. The day starts with a morning chant followed by hours of meticulous work on the mandala. I've prepared a short video showing how it is done using brass funnels with ridges.
