Time for Snowshoes

Image
I awoke to some "brisk" temperatures. It was below zero (F) this morning here in New Ipswich. But yesterday the temperatures were relatively mild (balmy 20s) during a snow storm and we had the opportunity to don some snowshoes and venture out. Relatively mild temperatures while we broke the trail through the woods. I was reminded again that different muscles are used when snowshoeing. Sore today. Easy to spot my neighbor and her dogs in snow Not much traffic this morning Snow is getting deeper and more is expected this weekend Bridge is out on Taylor Road and as a result the plows cannot get through This is "Mount Taylor" you can barely see  the sign Bridge Closed sign Angelika ascending Mount Taylor

Brrr, it's cold in New Ipswich

It has finally warmed up to 0 degrees F. I don't relish going outside to remove a mountain of snow from the cars. But winter does have a certain beauty. With this last snow I will definitely get a chance to don some snowshoes and take a walk around. It's a great way to get around, good exercise that warms you up and let's you get into the woods. These are a collection of photos taken in previous years, new ones to come. New Years Day in Peterborough, NH This is my fourth year of walking the Labyrinth that is constructed on the floor of the Town House in Peterborough I suppose it has become a tradition with me My path is the self reflective one, contemplating the year past and thinking about the year to come It is a great way to start off the year Is this grammatically correct?
