Time for Snowshoes

I awoke to some "brisk" temperatures. It was below zero (F) this morning here in New Ipswich. But yesterday the temperatures were relatively mild (balmy 20s) during a snow storm and we had the opportunity to don some snowshoes and venture out.

Relatively mild temperatures while we broke the trail through the woods.
I was reminded again that different muscles are used when snowshoeing. Sore today.

Easy to spot my neighbor and her dogs in snow

Not much traffic this morning

Snow is getting deeper and more is expected this weekend

Bridge is out on Taylor Road and as a result the plows cannot get through
