Happy New Years - 2018

Image
We have been celebrating German New Years with John & Angelika Weber for many years. It makes more sense to celebrate at 6 PM rather than attempt tp stay awake till midnight. This year we dined on Spanish paella prepared in a HUGE pan.  Paella with snails, chicken, rabbit and green beans cooking in the garage,The last step is the addition of rice which absorbs the liquid and flavor. We were told that traditionally wooden spoons were used to serve ourselves (see photo below) On New Year's Day I repeated my tradition of walking the replica of the labyrinth that is on the floor of the Chartres Cathedral in France. This replica is created by volunteers on the floor of the Peterborough, NH town hall  and is open to the public from New Year's Eve till 4 PM on New Year's Day. New Years Day in Peterborough, NH This is my fourth year of walking the Labyrinth that is constructed on the floor of the Town House in Peterborough I suppose it has become a tradition with me My path is the self reflective one, contemplating the year past and thinking about the year to come It is a great way to start off the year Is this grammatically correct? Peterborough Town House, a fish-eye view Photography is only allowed from the balcony The perfect end of the first day of 2015 Playing music with friends and the locals
