The Corner Store on Turnpike and Main
In the collection of the New Ipswich Historical Society are a number of photographs of the corner store at the intersection of Turnpike and Main Street. It served as the telegraph station, the post office, a dry goods and grocery store and as a stop for the stage coach. The only dated photo is the final photo which was taken when the building was torn down on November 6, 1946.
